Mount Holland Covalent Lithium
Primero will process run mine ore at a rate of about two million tonnes per annum and produce an output of about 400,000 tonnes per annum of spodumene concentrate, feeding Covalent’s Kwinana lithium hydroxide conversion refinery.
Primero’s work covers the vertical delivery of engineering design of all disciplines and the procurement of all equipment and materials, including site construction, commissioning and performance testing of the spodumene concentrator at Mt Holland.
PCH Scope:
- PCH Civil, was awarded a civil works subcontract for the management and supply of plant, equipment and labour to Primero.
- Supply and management of labour including final trim operator, general operators, civil labourers, pipe layers, concreters, formwork carpenters, steel fixers
- Supply of plant and equipment including multiple excavators, compactors, rollers, a grader, a screening plant, multiple tippers, a dozer
